H63 Neuro-Step Down Unit

This project consisted of complete renovations to one of the Clinic’s Step Down Units, located in Building H on the 6th Floor. As post-operative patients are ready to leave the Neurosurgical ICU following a procedure, typically they are transferred to a regular hospital room for recovery. Some patients, however, may have ongoing medical problems requiring more careful monitoring for a period of time. These patients are transferred from the ICU to the Clinic’s post-operative step-down unit, which has a very high nurse-to-patient ratio. We worked closely with the Owner through completion of this 4,400 square foot patient-occupied project.
